I am proud to be a Nationally Board Certified Health and Wellness Coach.
The National Board Certification credential (NBC-HWC), offered in collaboration with the National Board of Medical Examiners, represents the profession’s highest standard and is based on extensive research and the training, education, and assessment of coaches who attended an NBHWC-approved school that meets specific criteria and standards.
More about me…
I have been married my best friend, Jay, for 29+ years and we are the proud parents of two grown children. Our daughter, Emily, is an interior designer and newly married to Ashton! Our son, Truitt, is in college.
Jay and I decided early in our marriage that I would be a stay at home mom - my dream job! The irony is, that as a stay at home mom, I was rarely home. I was a professional volunteer back then, first at church then at school and eventually at a hospital. A couple of those volunteer roles turned into real jobs for a short time. But in my heart I knew that was not my long term purpose. I’ve always had an entrepreneurial spirit inside of me, waiting for the right time to come out.
Once our nest was empty, I decided to combine my passion for helping people with my love for health and wellness. I formalized my education in the field of coaching and Fit To Serve was born. I have coached a couple of hundred clients individually or in small groups, and have loved every second.
I want to help you get fit (body-mind-spirit) so you can serve your families, churches, communities and yes, even the world, with energy and confidence. We can transform the lives of our families and beyond by our example of living lives that are Fit to Serve! If you are local to Augusta, I’m also the owner of Fit Pilates. Click here to learn more.
